Default Help Please! Skip Shift Eliminator Problems!

I just installed the skip shift eliminator from the WS6Store. I am assuming I plugged everything into the right place since I only seen one wire to disconnect and connect the elimintor to. After installation, it is really hard to get my shifter far enough right in neutral to get the car to slide into reverse. It takes some good force to push it over far enough to get it into reverse. Also, its still locking me out of 2nd and 3rd. I accelerated slowly a few times and it kicked on about half of those times. Did i do something wrong? Can anyone tell me what is going on?
