I have seen a couple pictures of a T/A that had some corvette side mirrors, and it looked real slick,

unfortunatly i could not find any information on how it was done.

I'm just curious how involved the swap was... anybody done this and can give me an idea?

Basically, you have to make a back-plate/bracket that goes on the inside of the door to mount the mirrors to and then a triangle block off plate for where the stock mirrors are.

Obviously, it's a little more involved than this, but that's just a quick idea.

I've only seen the orange one and a blue one that also had the breathless headlights.

its not that hard, just make a block off plate for your old mirrors and drill two hole in your door.
