Stereo & Electronics - subthump box setup

any possibility on t-tops get rubbed against each other and leave scratchs ?i was just wondering ? i like the box set-up .looks clean and simple .

the t-tops are perfectly fit. but what i no other people do is put a thin rag or thin towel between them.
