does anyone know how to get the headrest out of the 2002 T/A WS6 seat? Do I remove the screws on the seatback? I would like to get the headrest embroidered with the super chicken.

You don't remove the head rests, you pull the head rest covers off. I don't know who you have in mind but you should really search for Grant on here. He is in Texas and does excellent work for a very reasonable price. You send him the covers and he sends them back in week or 2. If you can't find him, let me know and I'll hook you up.

Back to your question. To remove the head rest covers, unscrew the 2 screws that hold the seat belt guide on to the side of the head rest. Then if you have T-tops take them off, it gives you more room while removing the covers. Get in the back seat, reach under the headrest and you will feel a plastic strip. Pull the plastic strip back and down and it unhooks. Then you grab the top of the headrest and pull and work it off the foam inside. It's a little hard but if you are patient you can work them up and off.

Here are some examples. He can do just about any style you want. And it looks like it came from the factory that way. Go to the Appearance and Detailing thread on here and search for more. Grant's member name is BlackHawk131.

When I bought my '96 Trans Am it already came with custom front leather seats. They are black with tan in the middle and it has the bird with "Trans Am" stitched above the bird. Looks nice! I get compliments everywhere when I have my windows down.
