Default It's ALIVE!!!

Finally got the LS1 swpa done today. Actually I got it running last week but amung other things the tach was off and there was about 30 DTCs. Today I finished the PCM reprograming for the new cam and adapted for what's there and what's not. I was amazed when it not only ran way better with the new tunning but the SES light was not on. I was sure I probably missed something.

Now I just need to get the clutch fixed and I'm in there.

This is what I bought in Oct of 2003

A few months later this is what it looked like. I drove it like this for several years.

In april of this year I acquired a 2002 Firebird w/27k on it and started a LS1 swap, at the same time I converted the front clip to 98+ complete with a OEM SS hood. Here is a current pic taken yesterday. I'm still working on painting the hood.

Follow the progress picture link in my sig to see a ton of other pics documenting the progress along the way. I'll try to see if I can get a video of it running and post it.
