I am pretty sure you can leave them on, but it would make them so much easier to do if you just took them off. And it's not like they are that hard to undo. Just undo them and put'em to the side.

so youre saying undo them and just leave em up there but move them over a bit so i have more room or completely take em out? plus my exhaust is fully welded so i dont want to have to cut the weld at the collector? hmmm

It's fine to leave them on, mine didn't get in the way much at all.

When I do my header install... would it make it easier to install the poly motor mounts then? wasn't really planning on doing that mod yet, but is it worth it to do it now rather than later?

EDIT: and i'm talking about at an "Install" standpoint... not whether I should or not...

Mounts were a biatch to install. I wish I had the headers off. It would have saved me nine pints of blood and hours of time. I had air tools and offset wrenches with tight gears and it still took a lot of time. I did the install a few hours each day. Doing it all at once would have been more of a pain. Removing the alternator and starter helped. The mounts helped engine vibration 100% after my cam install.

Don't go stressing over spark plugs and wires. Anything more than "the usual suspects" are just gimmicks designed to take your money. Yea, sure the technology may be better on paper, but the fact is, your motor doesn't need it. It's like snake oil.

Just go get yourself a set of MSD wires and NGK plugs. It's all you need. Hell, even the stock wires are pretty nice if you wanna get another set from the dealership. Denso plugs come in our cars stock, correct? After 44,000 miles, my stock Denso plugs still looked fantastic. Denso is another great choice for plugs, O2's...everything they make is good.

Don't think too hard and get the usual suspects. MSD wires and NGK TR-55's can be had for ~$70 and have been proven a thousand times over.

Last time I answered "yes" to that question, I spent a night in a cell with a guy named Britney.
