Default New Bellow Not Fitting

I have an aftermarket lid on my 2000 WS6 made by Stealth. They've since either gone out of business or the website printed on the lid is too old. I noticed when I bought the car that the intake was jerry rigged and it wasn't sucking all the air through the filter because of missing hose clamps and lid brackets. I made new brackets for the lid so that it fits perfectly.

I got an SLP bellow, but I have a problem. Once I fit it on and clamp it down, the lid sticks out a half inch and doesn't seal. Is my lid too long? Here's a picture (click on it):

That's the current setup with the bracket I fabricated. That is not the SLP bellow in the picture.

My guess would be that the neck on the stealth one is shorter than the SLP/stock one. I would get the SLP lid anyway. It looks better, is mader of better materials, and will seal better.

We have them on sale at the link below if your looking at a reputable place to buy them from at an awesome price.

Is there any chance that the lid is the only custom part, that the whole plastic piece attached to the radiator core support isn't custom at all?

You could try to trim the bellow or switch to a stock one to see if it fits any better.

If that doesn't work then I would buy a new slp lid. Looks great and fits great.

No stock bellow here. The one you see is the one the car came with. I got the SLP bellow to replace it since the old one didn't fit well enough.

I bought the SLP lid. I hope it fits. The big plastic piece that filter fits to and the lid bolts onto is aftermarket. I hope I'm not going to have to buy a stock one.
