Default ???: Tci

well jeff (GET ME SOM) sold me his tci ssf3800 a few months ago and i had neglected to get it put in. it needed a refresh and the lockup clutch had gone on the stall, so i sent it in to tci. they called me 5 business days after i shipped it, and they tld me exactly what was wrong with it (lockup clutch) and it would cost me 175 dollars including shipping to fix it. I got the converter back in 4 business days. Got it into the car (thanks to fx ceramics and chris and ryan there-since i can work on my car really due to school) feels great and everything is functioning as it should now.

overall, tci is a big company, and i had a great experience with them.

Well thats good to hear although it sucks you had to pay to get it fix...they should fix it for free if they stand behind their product IMO...but that still is good service

He buys a used unit from a private party that's who knows how old, and they should fix it for free? C'mon ... reality check.
