LQ blocks Would it be cheaper to build off of an LQ4 or LQ9 block as compared to buying a crate LS1? I have never done an engine swap before, and my damn search on here never works. What other parts do i need for a complete swap if I am just starting with the block? would it hook up to my 4L60E trans? Or overall, am I better off buying a complete LS1 on ebay?
