Default Check That Opti Spark!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

After a new timing chain, ingnition coil and module and coutless hours taking and retaking the balancer, A.I.R. pump, water pump off the car; I found the solution to the mysterious run stop run...... The rotor screws had backed off and where rattling around in the Opti-Spark. I cant believe it ever ran. Needless to say the screws and everytjing else got a more than adequate helping of Locktite.

I read something in another forum (same situation) that suggested loctite can damage plastic. Can anyone comment on that?

One of the MSD engineers we are working with mentioned that certian thread lockers attack the plastic and weaken it.

We are probably going to use the dry style when we put the next one together

If you could let us know how you did this and how it worked, it would be appreciated.
