Default red-out what do you think?

i saw these things on ebay and thought they look pretty nice until i get them blacked-out. what do you guys think yay or nay?

I just ordered some. I've been wanting to paint the tails in candy red to cover the amber part anyway so if I don't like the way they look it'll just peel them off.

i just ordered some as well...i actually had previously painted mine but one came out messed up but it still looked better then the amber

it looks pretty cool, cleans up the car quite a bit. the lt1 tail lights have a solid red piece i dont know why they changed it for the ls1

red as a turning signal isn't permitted in many other countries (canada, mexico, all of europe) thats why there were "export" taillights from 93-96 that have the amber, to get rid of the LT1 years red

it would look goofy but after you red it out you could make it a sequential tail light/turns

I got them in the mail a couple of days ago and just put them on this afternoon. I the ebay ad the seller states that these decals are a perfect fit. I found that not to be true and had to trim them down to fit the amber part of the tails perfectly. No big deal though.

Here's what they look like with the brake lights and flashers on.
