I want to badge my car 400hp when the time comes...
When I reach 340rwhp (400hp) I want to badge my car "400hp"
Anyone have pics of Camaros with horsepower badges? Where would be a good place to put them?
Are there any other good decals out there besides the ones bfranker makes custom?

lol...
I guess the main thing I need to know is where to put the badges on my car. Brent Franker will make me a custom 400hp badge, just not sure where to put it. That's why I need pics

yea, i wouldnt badge it at only 340 rwhp, nothing special there. Wait until youre at 400, or 450rwhp, then badge it.
You can put the badge on the opposite side of the z28 badge on the rear of the car, or if its a decal you can put it on a cowl hood. under the z28 fender badges works too as long as the badge isnt bigger than the z28 badges

When people see the word horsepower, 99% of them (I'm talking regular people out and about) think of crank hp. Only car enthusiasts think of RWHP. So I am NOT going to badge my car 340hp for obvious reasons
400hp to the average joe on the street is VERY impressive. For car guys its respectable, but nothing out of the ordinary. I just want to scare the ricers in my town that see the 400hp badge and say "holy crap he's got 3 times the power I do!!" hahaha

The thread was started to ask WHERE I should put the badge and you guys know of any more people that make custom badges
And by the way, I joined this site a while back, but just recently started actually posting regularly because I just bought this car about 2 months ago...

power at the motor doesnt ean anything to anyone, its the power that makes it through to the pavement that counts and what people oooh and aaaaah about. just wait till ya cam or spray it and THEN advertise your 400 RWhp.....bc your power elvel now isnt really anything to write home about just yet. youll get picked on by faster cars with an over rated hp sticker on your car....well not OVERrated, but maybe missleading or missadvertised. thats my opinion on it.

See that's where I think you are wrong, no offense. 99% of the time I am driving around in town or on the freeway. If you took 50 people off the street and had them explain what RWHP means, maybe 1 would get it right, MAYBE. Basically what I am trying to say is that the average person is used to hearing about crank hp, not RWHP. So that's why I'd badge it 400hp because then I'd be using the same standard that manufacturers and probably 99% of others use.
Of course I know that RWHP is all that matters, I am an fbody enthusiast.
And 400hp at the crank might not seem impressive to me and you, but to 99% of regular people in town, its a shitload of power...
