alright i have 2 choices of motors that i can get my hands on from work.
i have a choice oh a ls2 long block with low miles or a LQ9 long block with 60k+ miles i want to do a big heads/cam nitrous motor so i am going to change the internals

ls2 if there the same price the main cost diffrence is ther initial cost of the block. so if there the same price the LS2 is a better deal both iwll make same power only you get a weight reduction

Nah the iron blocks seem to be a letter better about consistent power due to even heat distribution and less deflection.

well i got the LS2 it turns out the LS2 is new with 0 miles only was started and idle. and LQ9 had 60k+ miles on it. and they were the smae price. now i dont know if i want to sell the LS2 and used the money to start my build. or just do heads / cam the throw it into my car, have some fun and save up and then take it out for the 413 build
