Default Question about building my 4l80e

I have bought a few upgraded parts such as clutches and bands. My main question is do you guys think that stock sprag will work fine in my car? Its a cam only car with a 100 shot on it. I know it never hurts to upgrade but they are $179 with the drum. If I dont need it then I wont buy it.

You don't need the drum. The stock 4L80E drum is already setup for the 34 element sprag and depending on the year of the core, it may already have it.
I would install a new 34 element Borg Warner sprag on your existing drum and you're set.
That's a $50 sprag.
