Question Identifying Heads LSX

I just got another car. The guy let me have some heads that he had got for the car. Is there a website where I can look to see what heads they are or what they are off of? Or is there a list on here? Can't seem to find anything on them everywhere I have looked. Also which number do I check to see what they are. I found all the numbers but also not sure which one to go by.
Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks,
Criss

853's are the 98-00 heads and te crappier of the headers, with the 243's being the best. They only came on LS6 motors though

If they are 6.0L heads, would they be good to use? Not sure yet but will look at the numbers again on my lunch break.
Thanks for the help guys. I am trying to get setup to start building a little power. The car already has a D1SC, longtubes ORY and exhaust. The guy said it made 47X to the ground. But ready to up it a little.

Thanks,
Criss

I think 98's are 806 IIRC. I'm too lazy to run out and look right now tho.

6.0 heads are good to use on forced induction motor. Just like a LS6 head just a little larger which is good for boost.

They are the 317 6.0L heads. Just checked them. What size valves are in these heads. How much boost with these heads and stock bottom end?

Thanks,

not sure about the numbers, but 97-98 heads are the same, heads from 98-00 were not the same at all

241's are supposed to be better than 853's and 806's. Something about the method of casting them that makes the finish smoother IIRC.
