my question is if you get kr your computer switches to low octane table. when it switches how long doe's it stay in that table before swiching back to high octane table.i hear some guys make the tables the same but some cells would have to be done one at a time wich would take sometime to do. whats the best way to go

I copied my high octane table to my low octane table. This is how we did it, I opened up my flash file on my desktop, and opened it up on my laptop. My husband read off the numbers to me from the high octane table from the desktop and I typed them into the low table on my laptop. Once this was done I was able to copy my low octane table to my husbands low octane table using the "read" and "copy" function in Edit because we both have 2001 cars with the same segment 1 ID.

Thanks i can handle that. i tried calling you yesterday but you were closed. to busy at work to call during the day.i'm still plugin away at this bs. I'm really tring to stay away from dynotuning and spending 450 bucks.

It seems like I read on this site once about this. It's been a while, so don't etch this in stone. But I think after you see a certain amount of KR for a given amount of time, it switches to the low octane table. Once the PCM is turned off, and it is turned on with more than 20% more gas it will switch back to the high octane tables.

I can't remember what the amount of KR is or for how long. I can't remember if it was 20% or 20 gallons either. It seems like it was 20 gallons, but I would wonder about that since someone might have a 19 gallon tank.

I think it was in this forum I read it, but I'm not just real sure. Sorry I couldn't be any more help.

I am thinkin it is 5 gallons. Almost 20% of tank capacity.
