Yep mine too, it's very annoying but only does it on hard accelleration. I would love to know how to fix this, I did however had a muffler shop heat up the pipe to cherry red then took a prybar to give it more clearance. It helped a little but not enough...

Just loosen all the clamps, use a pry bar to pry the side with no clearance down and place a piece of wood ect. to hold it away from the car. With the pressure on the pipe both sides of the Y should be hanging low even though you only have the wedge in one side. Use a floor jack and a block of wood ect. to put pressure on the opposite side, this will tweak the system enough that you will gain plenty of clearance on the side that was making contact. While you have pressure on the system re tighten all the clamps.
Remove the floor jack and wedge and enjoy no rattles.

You need approx. 1" of clearance to keep the pipe from making contact with the floor. Anyone who keeps the exhaust wedged against there floor board for a little extra ground clearance needs to re think there ride hight.
Were talking 1" of clearance, not the thickness of the 2/4. When you release the wedge and the pressure of the floor jack the pipe will spring back to an extent. It takes approx. 20 minuts and corrects all the problems without any extra money and no big friggen hammers.

installing poly mounts on mine fixed the problem! but just to let you know! you will feel alot more vibrations from the motor/drivetrain with the polys. but it is alot better than that thump/thump from the ypipe.

My fix to this was to get a stainless band clamp to wrap around the y-pipe at the point of contact. I snaked the clamp through a 4" long piece of heater hose and clamped that heater hose between the y-pipe and the floor. I have had this on there for over a year now with no issues.
I also wrapped the fuel line in that same area with a small piece of starter heat wrap, since the y-pipe comes awfully close to those lines there.
