My friend has a 00 Camaro and the driver side mirror is broken. The mirror itself wobbles all around in the shell. He bought a whole new side mirror but it isn't painted. Can I just remove the none broken mirror and switch shells?

There should be if they're like pretty much every other mirror. Angle the mirror around and there should be screws visible inside the shell behind the mirror. Unscrew them and pop the mirror out.

Yeah, I can easily reach the 2 screws on the bottom, but I can't tell if there is one more up top or not.
