I recieved my new 5.3 RMS SII heads today, and let me tell you, they are AWESOME!!!! The intake ports are huge, and the exhuast ports look PERFECT. MARK, you, and your porter did a great job. Those Yella terra rockers look like there going to perform real-well. Mark, as soon as I have the car back together, I'll have dyno #'s

There milled .05 for straightness, and the cam is a custom grind. 228/236 .571.602 111LSA.

Are you worried about p to v clearance I'm putting 5.3 heads on my stock Ls1 short block and they are milled .030

I have a 224/224 .581 with .40 off of my 5.3 heads and clearence issues.

you guys need to look at your decimal places....
please... .005 would be a straightness mill...and most ever on most heads would be .050-.060
This can mess a lot of people up.. Just trying to help clarify..

kick ***!! that's an interesting grind, I haven't seen anyone have before... should be interesting. damn cams keep getting bigger and bigger.
Wonder how RMS heads would do on a stroker... hmmmm.... I think we'll find out soon.

Well I have a 230/227 .591 with 5.3 heads milled .030 do you think i will have clearance issues?

Yes, i do belive you'll have clearance issues. I had milled 5.7 heads .30, and my piston to valve clearance was ZERO. Valve hit piston. Now my 5.3 RMS SII heads, milled only .005 for straightness, I now have .90 P/V clearance, but only .15-.20 Piston to head clearance. Make Sure you clay it. Good luck
