Default Th400 Temp Sending Unit?'s

Where are you guys taping for the temperature gauge sending unit? Besides the tans pan... I found a threaded hole on the drivers side of the trans case, Has anyone used that before?

you could use a "t" on the line going out to the cooler since the oil in the pan will be lower than the fluid running trough the trans.

in all honesty i haven't thought about buying one.

I have a trans cooler that totally enclosed in a case, the case gets filled with ice+water before the run, i don't think trans temps will be a problem for me.

My PG case has 4 ports on the case 2 labeled out, 1 in, and one with nothing but i have an aftermarket case.

My pan also has a port.... maybe performabuilt will chime in when they see this to help out some more.

I just pulled the plug on the side and threaded the temp sensor into it. Thats the way I had my 4L60e... Hope it works fine.
