ok i broke my oil pressure sensor while swapping from a ls1 to ls6 intake manifold, i got a new oil pressure sensor however it as two prongs and the connector only has a spot for 1 prong, is there a trick or did i get the wrong sensor ? did the sensors vary from different years?

I think the 98 had a different one from the 99-02. If it doesn't look like your old one, then I'd say there's a problem.
