Street Racing & Kill Stories - Brothers 87 Mustang GT against my 99 Z28

Well I went over to my brothers house tonight since he just installed some 4:10 gears and wanted to see how well he can do against me.
I honestly was very shocked at what his car can do now on an old 140,000 mile motor. Funny that now it makes me want to start adding shit to my motor because I cant have my brother beating me...lol

He picked up his GT for $1300 and all it had was UD pulleys, short throw shifter and MT streets, it needs a paint job but I say he got a pretty good deal.
He has added a few things like: MSD billet dist, MSD wires, P&P'd TB, K&N cai, Ford motorsport shorties, Mac catted H pipe and mufflers, 4:10 gears and is now running Conti extreme 245's instead of the MT streets.

I am still all stock except for SLP lid and Flowmaster muffler (yes I know).

I am not going to sit here and make excuses and his car is coming along great but he better watch out when I finish my Cobra or get a cam/intake/headers/stall for my Z28 :engarde: .

In the video I was just about to start pulling on him until I seen a parked car in front of me and there was not enough room to get around, I will have more videos up soon showing him kicking my ass again...or maybe not :burn:

Thats what a set of drag radials and 4.10 gears will do for you.

Yea I read on here what a set of 3:73 gears can do for my A4 so I was thinking of that but a stall would probably be a better bet for me.
His 4:10's are killer with his 5 speed thats for sure.

Yea I have been doing alot of research and reading and so far this is what I hear.
I plan on putting together a realistic list of parts and get everything at once so I can get it all tuned together.

Yea stock intake and nothing internal was touched. He has another back up 5.0 just in case but man the 5.0 thats in it now has taken a beating and does not smoke or miss or anything... :drive:

Looks like a lot of fun. Racing brothers (and dad) is what it's all about in my. Looks like you started pulling on him pretty well, as is expected with the two cars/setups, but he hooked like crazy on the street! Find a place with more room or at the track and you'll take him in a longer run!

I already talked to him about a 30 roll and he thought it would be interesting but last night was all in fun and we were both shocked what his can do now.

Next time I am going to have his gf film the race from his car when I find a long stretch of abandoned road, I want to hear what my car sounds like when I blow past him...lol
