I ran a stock radiator with a D-1SC without issue. It was a conservative 500 rwhp street car setup.

We have been using the Ron Davis radiators in the C5 Corvettes with great success. I am sure their f body radiator shown above will also be just as good. Bob

There is a thread I was reading earlier about a guy converting to an LT1 radiator on his LS1 engine. I never really did realize how small the LS1 radiator is.

Are there any fitment issues with running a Be-Cool ?

I have a 02 vette Z06 and have 0 heat issues, and runs cool with stock radiator and the big intercooler that comes with my ECS D1SC complete kit, that I believe also came different radiator brackets to allow for the intercooler to fit, etc. See my sig. for details on my set-up!

You guys saying you run with the stocker and have no heat issues, I say come down to Florida and see were you stand. When I was in Belgium I did not have any problems with getting real hot but now that I am in the sunny state my temps are crazy. I am in the process of putting my LT1 radiator in right now so I will see if that helps.

Jason, do you have the extra 9" fan on your shroud? We install these on most lower state shipout cars and kits. The 9" fan should be wired to turn on at the same time as the big fan. Also, the air dam on the front of the car is critical.

No 9" fan yet. I am sure I will be doing that as well. Car does have the air dam still.
