Unfortunately I have a LM2 with kooks and catted Y. So cant really help you out with no cats. I like it. I think it could sound better but its not obnoxious and I have no drone on the highway. Has an odd brapping sound at certain rpms and when cold. No rasp though. And Im not advanced enough for sound clips. But overall Im happy with it. Loudmouths are fairly cheap and all stainless. I think a LM2 without cats would sound pretty good. I really dont mind some rasp and unrefinement though. Makes it sound untamed. Just go for it....

Edit: oh sorry you already have a LM2. Either way just go for the headers and ORY. If you really dont like it sell the ORY and get some cats.

I think the LM2 at idle sounds like some one stuffed a potato in each tail pipe...its got a really muffled sound.
