Default How to make my exhaust LOUDER?

Right now i have a Borla exhaust it sounds pretty good but you know you could always go louder. Does anyone have any ideas on a cheap and easy way to make my exhaust a little louder? And also without cutting anything.

Whats the Pro XS one? Like i said the first owner installed the exhaust and the receipt says it was only $679.99. And that its just the Borla adjustable cat back system.

If you take your pass side tail pipe off there will be a plate in there with a hole in it, it could range from about an inch to the full 3 inches. But if the owner didnt give you the plates that go with it anyways it wont matter :-\

step 1: remove cat-back
step 2: listen to louder car

I think thats about the only way you could do it if you dont have plates... or you could try

step 1: install cut-out
step 2: open cut-out
step 3: listen to louder car

If you have a smaller plate in your borla could you drill it out larger? I have never seen one so I don't know if this is possible.

Too expensive? Not a chance. For what you can sell the borla for, you should be able to snag the TSP duals. Only extra cost is having some place fab it up to mate to the Supermaxx headers. BTW nice power out of bolt ons, almost as much as I made with a cam

Dude you may have the full block off, "no hole" plate in there. Unbolt the flange on the passenger side and remove whatever plate is in there. I run no plate at all. That's as loud as it'll get. Pretty much like an open cut out.

I definitely agree.

TD's are nothing cost wise compared to a Borla.

You could get a hammer and a big screwdriver and hammer some holes into the muffler. That would cost $0 if you have the tools already.

I think though you should check to make sure it doesn't have the full block of plate in it. If it does you can remove it. If that is too loud I am sure you could fabricate a plate with a small hole to put in there.
