Im running the rossler transbrake on the 4l80e. Everytime i lanch the car on the trans brake the car makes it through about 2nd then the pump brakes. I have done this twice now. Car worked fine not using the brake. the second i started the pump starts failing. The first pump looked like the gear welded itself to the bushing

dont think it would have anything to do with the converter but im running a lock up converter.

Anyone sucessfully ran a brake with a 4l80e?

i am and so is mightymouse. sure the converter is not ballooning? Call Carl Rossler...he is very helpful with stuff like that.
