Default Jesus flywheel

I am trying to get my balancer bolt off, but my flywheel is spinning, so I used an impact, didn't get it off, and when a friend holds it, they can't hold it enough to get it off. So I need the locking tool. I need one fast, where can I get one? I tried a search, and nothing was useful.

Hahahahah. And just for the record, I meant flexplate, so all you technically correct people can be happy now.

take the starter off and jam a screw driver in there. just dont break it off. its torqued on at 240 ftlbs so youll need a 2 ft pipe over the breaker bar

If it had jesus burned into it i would say sell that bitch on ebay. People have done that with french toast before, and got rich.

Or maybe it was grilled cheese...

I tried it, i'll try it again. Guess I gotta get a shorter pipe hah. This is pissing me off so bad, because even after I finish this, I still need to finish grinding off a bolt to get my stall in, UGH. At least all the valve springs are done now.

what i do is take a piece of metal and put it on the side of the flexplate where it can grab the teeth and stick the other end into the ground. i know its an old redneck trick but it always works for me.

Did you try a socket and a pull bar and a hammer? Get sombody to hold the socket on the bolt while you give the pullbar handle a good hard rap or 2. I've broken alot of aggravating bolts loose this way.

Can you jam a screwdriver in there to hold it?

Advance or Autozone should have a locking tool.

I know I've seen it on their websites, so they should have it in stock.

I got it, I stuck a bicycle crank in there haha. So I put my 3 jaw puller on the balancer to pull it, and I broke the puller!
