Dynamometer Results & Comparisons - 07 ZO6. Stock/tuned/K&N

Thought I would share the dyno results from my ZO6.
Runs were started at 185deg coolant temp and ended with approx 200deg coolant temps. Conditions were 84 deg, 29.36 barometer, 25% humidity, 1.01-1.02 SAE correction.
The car is an 07 with 500 miles.
Completely stock the results were-
461rwhp 432rwtq. Air fuel ratio was approx 11-1 at peak HP
No modifications other than tuning brought it to-
474rwhp 441rwtq. Air fuel ratio was 12.8 at peak HP total timing 26deg.
After installation of the K&N induction and further tuning it made-
488rwhp 451rwtq. Air fuel ratio ended up being 12.2 at peak torque and 12.4 at peak horsepower. I had it as high as 12.9-1 but it only made 1 more horsepower (489) with the leaner air/fuel ratio so I left it a bit fat. Timing was 22deg at peak torque and 26 deg at peak horsepower.
I did not make any runs with the K&N and the stock programming. I will note that installing the K&N dropped the WOT air/fuel ratio from 12.8 to 12.0 which had to then be leaned out with the PE table. I also had to massage the low end of the MAF table in order to maintain correct fuel trims as they were approaching +10 at idle and +6 at low rpm/part throttle.
I'll post up the dyno graphs early next week.

That's pretty impressive! Some people change the fuel trims in the VE table instead of the MAF table.. what's your reasoning for doing it in the MAF and why is that better than tweaking the VE table?

Put some LG Pro Longtubes on that sucker and say hello to the 500+ RWHP club. Congrats on having a beast. She'll probably make even more after a few more miles of break in.

452 at the wheels here. I guess this starts the stock dyno wars.. :D My next mods will definently be headers and a tune. I'm trying to get close to 500 at the wheels with minimal mods. Sounds like your definently close to that number. Good numbers with the tune and intake.

What VE table in the E38 ECM mate? Its all coefficients, factors and constants no such thing as a VE table anymore.
Unless you are running the efilive with the built in conversion calculations you are left with the old skool MAF and PE changes.

Well that would be an interesting job to have. Something new everyday... But personally I would rather be scuba diving out in the ocean somewhere.

Wow, it's amazing what a little bit of cubic inches does. Just like everyone is saying, headers, tune, intake and you're at 525+ hp.
Yeppers,I believe my good buddy Sal Zaino made right around 530 with most boltons and a good tune in his Z...They are an amazing car,Maybe someday I'll own one :)

Thanks guys, and to those who asked, I'm trying to avoid twin turbo dyno #'s :)
I've actually considered selling my 96 Camaro and putting an APS system on the ZO6 but I'm waiting to see how those systems handle a road course. (as in can the car be tracked without overheating the oil and coolant)

probably not for road coarse lots of heat problems.
DO a badass heads cam package on that LS7. Plenty power! :D
And you will rip and run cool on the road coarse.

My 09 w/ 500 miles did 482.8 and 452.7 with a Callowway Honker and a dyno tune. Just a rough tune as only 2 pulls were made.
