So what's the difference if I switch to YSI from T-Trim?
I guess this is rather novice question, but I'm still wondering what would happen if I would switch from my current Vortech T-Trim into YSi?
Would boost increase earlier? Or would I gain more boost in higher rpms? I guess with my current setup there's no need for more max boost, so would there be any advantage of using bigger Vortech?
My current setup is as follows:
- LS7 block with Eagle 4" crank, Manley blower pistons etc.
- A&A ported Edelbrock LS1 heads (245 cc I think)
- LS6 intake manifold and throttle body
- 60 lbs injectors
- 228/232 115 LSA cam
- 9.8:1 compression
- Vortech race bow
- A&A intercooler
- A&A fuel system
- catch can
- 3.125 blower pulley with Innovate west damper
- stock LS6 exhaust manifolds and stock C5 Z06 titanium cat-back
(see discussion about stock exhaust manifolds here: https://ls1tech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=746475=

By the way, my brother used to own two-door Granada with tiny 1.7 V4 engine swapped with 2.6 liter Essex V6. I thought it was fast, but that was then... The car itself was nice looking, though. Yours not two-door?

We dont get the 2 door cars here in the UK, only 4 doors. It was a 2.8i Ghia auto a few years back. Its slightly different now lol.
The 2 doors were only on mainland Europe, and Scandanavia. Ive seen lots of photos of different ones....I'd really like one, as they are a good bit lighter than my car. But so hard to find, and I cant really jusitfy finding and buying one, as my current car is pretty much rust free...which is hard enough to find !!!
