Default New best 1/8 mile MPH last night - at 5000' DA

Wasnt as nice as it was supposed to be yesterday and I didnt hook at all but still squeaked out a 5.97 @ 121.8mph (1.388 60') with a F1A 7.25/4.25 at 14psi. On a good hook the car would have gone 5.80s which isnt bad for 5000' DA. Check out the volvo 4dr with the SBC I assume.

Very nice. Looks like the car leaves straight and hard. Congrats. 8's are only a couple thousand DA away

Yea you can hear it Websy21, everyone asks if I have an 'extra noisy' pete jackson gear drive.

It looks straight form the side David but it was all over the place in 1st, if the camera was behind the car it would look a lot different. I have the suspension setup very stiff to keep the front end down and on a so-so track it doesnt work well. I need new tires too

Its a Tag command air, I use it to dial the car in for index racing mostly. It didnt 'feel' that bad at the track but the barometer was very low, cuts the guesswork out.

Best I've run with the D1 is 5.81 @ 118 but that was on a 45 degree day on a very good hooking track and that was a little over max impeller speed (7.25/3.4 pulleys), The F1A right now is almost 10K under max impeller so its just cruising along.

I hope not, I've run more boost then this but I was happy to run so well with a crappy 60' and such a high DA. At sea level on a 50 degree day it will pick up 2psi or so and thats when the head gaskets will come into play. In the hot weather its not making any power so the head gaskets arent an issue.

1ORANGEWS6, yes it was I-40 in Crossville. Be at brainard for DFT probably.

Blownramair, I'm sure you will get there. Just takes a good weather day on a good track.
