Depends on what mods you already have. But if you have upgraded your intake and exhuast systems and a Hot cam only, expect around 320 rwhp

you should be around 320-330 range. Depending on your transmission. M6 dyno higher than A4.

Full Intake/Exhaust, a good Tune, and a UD Pulley.
That was through a slipping 3rd Gear in the A4.

Springs, I went with Crane 10308-1's they're great, some 1.6RR's, Lifters (if you have high mileage), Trickflow 7.2" Hardened Chromemoly Pushrods, a new timing chain, Thunder Racing cam swap gasket kit, and your pretty much set. I'd recommend swapping in a new Opti if your in there unless you recently have done that and unless you have the cam already I'd personally go a step up to like the cc503 or something like that, sounds better and more power but same drivability as the hot cam.

"Best" is a relative term depending on application. I'll assume that your car is a daily driver, and you want good street manners.

The hotcam will probably work well for you since it comes all in a kit. If you feel like braving the parts numbers (most shops will help you out), one of the small Lingenfelter grinds (I like their 211/219 112LSA grind personally) or the Comp Cams XFI 465 grind.

I think I put down 325/338 through a A4 with long tubes, cold air, 30lb injectors, 58mm TB, and a tune.

Personally IMO I would go with Crane 227 cam. It has awesome street manners, doesnt have much of a lope to it but this cam holds the "Cam only" record. you can check out the specs at Thunder Racing. And I have seen a Crane 227 Cam only vs Hot cam only cars multipule times and the 227 has always won. But like I said eariler this is IMO.

i think so many people like the hot cam because its seems to them as if they are putting factory parts made by gm in there.
