did u have the battery disconnected? and timing would not cause a high idle.

Are you sure you got everything hooked back up? Sounds like a vacuum leak.

i dont remember removing any vacuum lines when i did my opti... but if he had the battery disconnected, the computer lost its memory so its trying to learn its fuel trim again, high idle is a side effect of that. It should go away after u let it run for a while

i checked over all my connections and made sure none of the pins were bent and everything checked out ok. You think the o2 sensors could cause a problem like this? I just replaced my o2s but i wired them myself i coulda fucked that up.Can you unplug them and run the car without them to see if that is the problem? I only have the 2 o2s that go into the header, i had the rear 2 deleted out of the computer.

wired yourself uh, thats not a good idea. they run off of mV, and if you dont have a perfect sodder job itll **** up the signal.

i dont think it would cause a high idle, but it would make the car run like ****, possibly rich

im just listting everything that i could have possibly screwed up, those are the only 2 things, the disk on the oopti or the o2s, im gonna go with ac delco o2s instead of the shitty bosch ones i have. Yea i know wireing o2s yourself is a bad idea!
