ive tried some different combos and i need some input....
cars setup
stock 99 heads, intake and tb and shortblock
232/234 cam on a 112
basic boltons etc
150 shot of gas
built 4l60e tranny with 3600 stall with a 2.2 str
ford 9 inch rear with 3.70 gear 35 spline axles and posi
kmember and arms
qa1s up front
comp eng shocks out back
shohn tq arm at -2, lcas and panhard
lil weight reduction
well.... ive had a 275-50-15 mt radial on the car...hooked great on motor and sometimes on the gas....
now i have a 275-60-15 mt dr on the car and it hooks like a mofo but it knocks the breath outta it on the topend....3rd gear feels like a brick wall....
both of these tires are 11.5 inches wide....
what bout going to to the 255-60-15 which is a 27 x 10.5??
Or.....keep the 275/60s and put a 3.89 gear or a 4.11 instead of the 3.70?
as for 60 ft times...on the 26s it went a 1.46...average high 1.4x on gas (when it hooked).....now on 28s its 1.50-1.54s
what do you guys recommend??
