PCM tuning suggestions?
i just got my tune back from waitforme for my heads and cam setup. the tune seems to be fine but he left the stock idle, and f13's dont like to idle at 600 rpm(i have an A4). it does ok once im driving around but when i first start up it doesnt like to run. im thinking of getting the tune sent back to have that fixed. I was thinking of having him set the idle at 800, do you guys think that will be high enough? because of course i want it to be as low as possible so it will hit a bigger lick. Also i have an underdrive pulley waiting to be installed, what should the idle be to maintain a 25% UD(i am not overdriving the alternator.)? Ok onto the next question, since i have a stock automatic and bottom end i had him set the shiftpoints at 6000. the cam really doesnt start to pull hard until 5800 or so, as soon as it starts to feel good it shifts. So what would you guys set the shift points at and still be safe on the stock A4 and bottomend with over 100k miles? i was thinking of 6200 RPM, what do you guys recomend?
any help is appreciated, thanks
