Your probably gonna have to because those after market headers, which ever size you want, will not work with the stock y. Especially if they are full length. Let me just go ahead and advise you to consider the 1 3/4 length over the 1 7/8's. You will have better scavenging with the 1 3/4 and be a tad more on the effective side for broad power through out. The the bigger size is better for absolute high RPM and all out race. Most of those do not have provisions if you plan on keeping your AIR/EGR stuff.

yeah you have to buy (2) o2 extensions when you install LTs, you dont really have to keep the emmissions crap it depends what you can get away with in your state. I live in MA so there is only a OBDII for 96+ no sniffer and no visuall. so i deleted air and egr

That is how it is in TX too, No sniff and hardly a visual check. If you can even call it that. The only reason they walk to that other side of the car is to check the gas cap.

yea i dont know man i live in VA far as i know they are pretty strict on emissions vehicles younger than 25 years. how does your full setup sound with the magnaflow? i have it on mine too.. havent heard it combined with headers/pipe yet. i listened to it on LS1sounds but to me videos and sound clips dont do it justice and you cant really tell the attitude of it.
