sts/cat delete
I'm sure this has been disscussed before but couldn't find anything in a search. I have sts turbo w/ stock cats. I want to remove them alltogether and have 2 questions. The car will be louder and that is fine but do u still get to here that sweet whistle sound? Sts guys know what i'm talking about! Also I'm sure there will be codes after they come off. What exactly do i have to do to take care of this? thanks

Anyone with tuning software can take care of the codes. You will still hear the turbo, but my car got too raspy for my taste. I had to add a Borla XR-1 muffler after the turbo, which looks like crap, but it sounds pretty nice.

^ X2 on that, my car got raspy, but the rasp usually goes away for me after the turbo has warmed up...... usually i'll hear the whistle before the rasp after it warms up pretty good

I have O2 sims. on the post cat. O2's that are zip tied out of the way and wideband 02's in the the post O2's place. No codes, no problems.
Same raspy issue as everyone else but I did notice that once it warms up and especially when I wrapped the exh. it went away and wasn't as bad.
