Default Clutch question for FI only.

I just bought a mcleod street twin with the aluminum flywheel.....Should I go with the aluminum or send it back and get the steel...This pertains to my Turbo LS1 thirdgen. I know the advantages and/or disadvantages of aluminum flywheels on the NA cars but is there a difference when it comes to spooling....How fast will it spool...will it hurt the top end?

Thanks in advance.

Depends if your drag racing it. The motor has less mass to spin up, but it takes a little more slipping to get going on the street.

i'm really more concerned with if it will run out of gear to fast and not get the full spool potential like it would by getting loaded up from the weight of the steel flywheel.

Id go for steel for strength.

Flywheel weight isnt going to make one bit of difference to performance on these engines. Flywheel strength might though.
