Default raced a cammed 06 stang last night

mustang had intake, exhaust, gears, and stage 4 comp .500 lift cams. My mods are in sig running stock tune. I got about a car on him out of the hole, he misses 2nd gear and still beats me by about 3 cars. I think im running on 7cyl. or one cyl isnt hitting all the way. Anyway, next paycheck im going to dallas for dyno tune, I dont like losing to stangs.

Also, the stang is running 20s or 22s, tiny low profile tires and didnt spin bad at all. those 3 valvers have some top end now. hes prolly trappin close to 115 in the 1/4

Hey I almost bought that car! I hope you are running on 7 cylinders, and I hope you can get a re-match when you get everything straightened out, I would hate for ym new build to get beat by 3 cars by a cammed stang.

the car wasnt 100% when I bought it prolly like 90% feels like its down about 50hp from when I first bought it. im thinkin it would lay down 300hp to the tire right now instead of the 360hp it should be layin down. 2 fuel pumps, 42 lb injectors, no o2s on stock tune sucks donkey *****.

dont you hate it when you finally find a decent race and your car isn't up to par. not to steal your thread but i had a gt come all up on me and we jumped on the highway real quick. and i just had bolt ons and full exhaust and we were side by side when i should have left him in the dust. but yeah, i hope for your sake that the guy agrees to a rematch. and i also hope you post the results. revenge is a wonderful thing.

Excuse me but, did you just say that you are running 42lb injectors on a stock tune???

If that's the case it's probably running like crap because you've coated your rings with fuel.

the car had a tune on it, the car is obdI converted. I unpluged my battery a few months ago for like a day, pluged it back in, the car idles different, runs different, everything. For the slower. So its not back to stock but something changed, But Idle speed is the same, and rev limmit is the same. I also notice now that when I unplug the maf while the car is running it has no effect, before it would make the car rev up to about 1200, then fall back to 1000 and cam different than pluged in.

The mustang got beat by an auto ls1 with stock stall, intake, all free mods, headers, exhaust, ls6 intake, by 1 car from a roll.

So im thinkin the stang is good for 12.90s

ok well assuming you don't have a stock tune then.

Unplugging the battery can sometimes cause you to run a little rough for a short time until the computer relearns the various parameters.
