Default ******* headlight motor

my left side headlamp motor gear is stripped and makes a Godaweful noise when it goes down for about 6 seconds. do i need to change the whole motor assembly or just the gear??

Personally, I would buy the brass gear on ebay. But you can just take the gear out and turn it over and use the non-stripped side.

yeah i was going to say the brass gear set usually does the trick. do an advanced search and youll get the answers you need
