Default Good radiator for 81 TA

Can any one recomend a good replavment radiator for my 81 Trans Am the current one has a leak. Motor is a chevy SB 350

Depends on what you want to pay and what you plan to do with the car. If you plan on adding more power down the road, aluminum is a good choice for better cooling. Plenty of options (and price ranges) exist here. I've run a Griffin and had good luck, but Be Cool, Northern, Alumitech, and others are available. You can also go back with a copper/brass one, and tons of companies make these.

stock lt1 or ls1 with fans, can wire in fans with relay and thermal switch
for fans at set temp. summit sells a good rad.also

I was thinking why not just hook the fan to an ignition wire so it is on all the time. What would the dis advantage of that be besides fan life?

Might hinder warm-up time in cold temps. Most late model fans have a low and high speed that run through a relay.

A bad *** radiator for that car is the becool unit. My buddy has one in his 76 ta and that thing is insance how good it works. He bought the one with the fans and shroud, and I wannt to say it was around $1200
