Default T56 slipping

will a t56 slip like and auto if the fluid is low. my car has started slipping a little when im in higher gears (5&6). usually if i try to give it a little gas it will slip for a second and then catch and go. so far only in upper gears. down low it goes good without slipping. I havnt checked the fluid yet but im going to go ahead and change it. its been awhile. any ideas on this. its a stock tranny with a spec stage 4 clutch.

i'm pretty sure that the tranny can't slip...generally, any slippage in an M6 car is the clutch.

Its your clutch....transmissions don't slip. Had the same thing happen to me. Just think, though, a clutch is alot easier (i.e. cheaper) to fix than a transmission...
