So right now there are 3.73s in my SS and 3.42s in my buddies SS. I wanna go 4.10s and he wants my 3.73s. I need to know
1) Would it be cheaper for me to buy gears and bring them in or have you buy them yourselves
2) How much for labor would it be to install my gears and install his....

right now i am trying setup an account with US gear so i can order gears. gear install would be $400 labor, and i do them on saturdays only for now, because i have a gear specialist (my uncle lol) come in and do the gears. i can do gears myself as well, but this guy is the **** when it comes to doing gears.

Yeah some work you can and should do yourself, but some things are better left to the professionals.

Revelation Z28
I was quoted 590 for a gear install from the shop in Azuza
250 labor
209 for gears
119 for the bearing kit
20 for the oil

Maybe they went up a little since you had yours done?
The 250 Labor is still a deal

i didnt get a bearing kit, he checked my bearings over and he said they look great as they were. all i got were the gears and the labor.

i gave him the oil and LSD additive and pinion seal when he did mine too.

what gears did you ask for?
