What Headers Will Be Best For My Car?
Okay If You Dont Already Know I Have A 2000 Ws6 Trans Am (auto) Pratically Stock. Slp Loud Mouth Exhuast, Slp Lid, And Slp 75mm Maf, Im Wanting To Put A Set Of Headers On My Car. I Came To The Conclusion That I Could Get Either Ls6 Intake And Fast 90mm Throttle Body Or A Set Of Good Headers, And To Me It Looks Like For The Same Price I Can Get Headers And Make More Hp. So What Kind Of Headers Will Give Me The Most Performance And No Problems?? Or Am I Wrong Will The Intake And Throttle Body Help More. I Need Some Opionions.
Thanks Alot

Do headers first.
1- Pacesetters for value, they will get some rust spots over time.
2- QTP HVMC for a tiny bit better performance that will show moreso with heads/cam, stainless is nice.

Pacesetter is okay for value...but as always, you get what you pay for. Nothing wrong with that...just keep in in mind. Kooks are to of the line and hands down have the best fitment.

Stay away from SLPs, unless you like to throw away money. Only reason i got them was because it was a price i couldn't resist. But now i wish i would have gone with Hookers or saved for QTPs, since with SLP LTs you can't lower your car.

I wouldn't buy anything but stainless. That being said, for 1 3/4" headers, QTP is the only way to go IMO. If you buy Kooks or ARH, you are spending more money for the same or less performance (Kooks and ARH both have an inferior merge collector in comparison to the QTP's) and not nearly as good of a look (only QTP is polished).
If you need 1 7/8", I'd give ARH a call. If you need 2", Kooks is the only way to go.

From what ive been told all the headers make about the same power unless you go w/ 1 7/8"....
I went with xs stainless had no problems with them and have never thought about changing them either
