Easy way to install lifters...
My old lifters and plastic lifter holders are out of the car....
I assume the best way to re-install them is to insert all four lifters in the plastic holder and push them in the block together (4 at a time) into the lifter bores; then bolt down the plastic holder..
Is this correct?

I put my lifters in the engine one at a time, and then put the lifter cup over it. I did that to all 16 of them and had no problems. What difference would it make if the lifters go in before the cup or with it?

Constrictor:
I have not worked with roller lifters that have these plastic holders before, so I was concerned that the lifter roller tip would not align properly with the cam lobes and plastic holder cups if I put them in one-at-a-time....
If you installed the lifter one at a time, I assume they aligned correctly with the cam and plastic holders and it worked.
I was not sure it would....
Thanks...
