Is the SLP cold air intake package really worth it or just the new filter and lid?

Just get the lid. Some people take it steps further and get SSRA of FTRA to compliment a lid.

I didn't see an improvement with the SLP CAI over FRA. I found it raised my coolant temps' more than gave me power.

Just buy the lid and a $10 paper filter. Then use the money you saved for other mods.

Go with the FTRA instead. The SLP CAI really doesn't add any more performance than the free air mod.
