Was the cutout welded in or bolted in with band clamps? I'm hoping that it was welded in. Could it be something on the cutout vibrating because it's at high RPM's? I would reach under under the car and feel the flange and the all the welds.

Cut-out is welded in. I was thinking maybe the butterfly is vibrating? I am running TTS long tube headers, catted y-pipe, McCord cut-out, SLP SS exhaust back. Attached is my cut-out install.

hard to tell from that picture but my best guess is the upper corner of the mccord is hitting the floorboard, only other guess is that is not on tight enough, but im stumped

Plenty of clearance around the cut-out and nothing is loose. It is an exhaust sound, kinda sounds like the pick-up trucks with the dual exhausts out the back, Maybe it is normal? I took the electric cut-out off, see if the sound disappears.
