Should b fine as long as the tabs are in there with no stress on them and the lid is over the filter correctly(squared up with the base) other than that i don't know sorry.... maybe someone else will chime in

Hm, Im on my second lid and they both have fit pretty snug. The only bad thing is that it slightly rubs my hood.

As long as the tabs aren't popping off and its secured to the maf good you should be fine.

I gotta SLP Blackwing with the smooth bellows and a K&N filter with no probs. Do you have the top of the lid on right? It should not be over the front! Thats mostly what the prob is. Or do you have an 85mm MAF. That would throw it off a bit!

You still got the stock "accordion" type bellow? You should be able to squeeze that sucker in to get the lid to fit. The lid should not be flush with the front of the bottom piece. It should be back alittle.
