Roush' first GM escapade

No specs just yet, but a regular forum poster at camaroZ28.com has revealed the first Roush Silverado sketch to date. If Roush put the disclaimer underneath the image with intend to follow up on it, the poster will be in a good deal of trouble over this photo taken with his camera phone. We announced earlier this year that Roush was working on GM models, after 12 years of blue oval exclusiveness.

So here is where the guess work starts, but what we do know is that Roush will be bolting on Power Programmers and Cold Air Intake kits in order to add horsepower and torque to the Chevy pick-up. And more importantly that they are working on a new RoushCharger for the Silverado (and its twin GMC Sierra of course).

Judging from the image, Roush is working on the new Chevrolet Silverado which is powered by a 5.3 liter V8 pumping out 315hp or the 6.0 liter V8 (L76) rated at 367 hp amongst others (with the 6.2 liter V8 (L92) exclusive to the GMC Sierra Denali). Knowing Roush, they'll be pushing the 6.0 liter V8 to its limits, but we will have to wait for confirmation.

We're hoping to see the Roush Silverado at SEMA this year.

pretty interesting.......

^^^HAHAHA, NICE!! Yeah Saleen and Roush seem to be leaning toward the Chevy crowd lately. Untapped market. I just hope they don't flood it with crappy ass bodykits and slow-ass "special editions" that cost ten times the amount a DIY mech could have done it for himself.

I hope they dont do it for the SSS's sake.... it's not all that impressive, but I'm sure this would be even less so....
