Finally! Pics of my motor ready for delivery...
Thank god. After months of nothing but clearance issues and custom fabbing bracketry and fitting everything from teh vacuum pump to the manifold (and finishing the water neck delete) my motor is ready to deliver. Some of the stuff in the pics is temp fitted cause I'm dropping the motor from the top so i'm going to put the valve covers, throttle body, fuel rails, injectors, alternator, vacuum pump, and a few other items on after the motor is dropped in. And these pictures were taken right before the distributor was dropped into place and we phased the crank trigger. I also painted the alternator case and the low mount bracket black since tuesday when i shot the pics. This should be enough motor for low low 10's on motor alone and we're hoping for high 8's on both kits (250/100 or 250/150) Enjoy.

Thanks everyone..... I'll give you some of the details...
Chris, that bracket that is on there is being modified and dropped down as we speak. If you look at the water pump the neck where the radiator hose going to the bottom of the radiator comes out goes right near where the belt is if the location is like it is in the pic. So we're lowering it so the distance will be shorter.
sound, and z28 dad: The manifold is an edelbrock Victor E that has been fully ported, had the water neck cut off, smoothed over and welded so it looks like it was never there. Yes it required alot of modifications to make it fit. The holes had to be redrilled and moved for LT1 head bolt pattern and angle. The bolt holes were countersunk on the outside so that spacers didn't need to be used. The manifold is similar to a Victor Jr only it has injector bungs cast into teh intake and it is scrunched down a bit since it's designed to only flow air versus air/fuel like a true carb vic jr....
Urban: I'm in Vacaville california which is about 35 miles west of sacramento...
Tony, Pepe: thanks guys. Yeah I'm thinking low 10's will be pretty easy considering my curbweight. THe car is pretty light since it's about 80 percent drag and 20 percent street now. Probably weigh down around 3200 with me in it.... Gonna be an animal on the bottle. i'm pretty scared of that motor as it is now...

Yes it is one of the better options for an LT1 being that it is already setup for fuel injection and edelbrock did their research to make sure it flows well... it'll outflow an LT1 intake any day of the week regardless of waht was done to the ltx manifold.... and i got it cause it was proven on Tony Shep's motor. I tossed around teh super victor idea and there are very good super vics out there but it came down to packaging, trusting edelbrocks R&D, and having someone that already got it to fit to benchmark from....
