Default where should I mount my trans temp gauge inside the car?

where is the best place to hide a trans temp gauge in a camaro. I bought the smallest autometer i could find. I was thinking of putting it in where the ashtray goes but the shifter cables are in the way. I am not a big fan of the pods in the a pillar either. anyone have any good ideas?

Agree, get another gauge and a pod. You could always put it in the vent too

Mine is in my glove box, and I can see it at a glance. But I normally only check it after a run or periodically otherwise. When I park the car, or am choosing up on the street, I just close the glovebox. Gauges hidden completely.
And unlike a lot of drivers, I don't think having all those gauges hanging out in the car looks cool. JMHO.

The A pillar is probably the best place in a Camaro.

why would you want to hide it? Well here is a thought, do you smoke? If not why not see if you can fit it where the ash try is in the console

Interesting......... the glove box. Not for me but original I'd say. I still say a pod, if not the a/c vent. Other than that you really wouldn't be able to have a good glance at it

Haha its nice to know some people can read. I thought about the glove box but i'm undecided. yesterday I ran all the wires and I just left them super long in case I find somewhere better to put it

again like koolaid_kid said, read the original post. I tried the ashtray but the cables for the shifter are in the way. and i want to hide it because I am just not a fan of a bunch of aftermarket gauges in my car. On my 79 trans am its ok because I can replace all the factory gauges with autometers. they fit perfect in place of the stock ones
